Life Groups

Open Altar Life Groups are your source of friendship and support. Based on Acts 2:41-47 and Acts 5:46, we believe that church and gatherings outside the physical church building are both necessary components to help believers grow to their fullest potential in Christ. Through Life Groups we promote worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and evangelism. These groups help make Open Altar Worship Center more relational. We have various life groups available such as: Men’s, Women’s, Couples, Singles, Family, Young Adults, and Youth. Joining a life group will help you experience all that Open Altar Worship Center has to offer you.

Kidz Altar

At The Open Altar your child is important to us. KidzAltar is a children’s ministry uniquely designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through fifth grade, receive the Word of God on a level they can understand. It is our desire to minister to your child’s spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. They will enjoy praise & worship, interactive Bible lessons, games and much more! We are promoted to providing the most safe and caring environment for your child, and we are passionate about children learning about Jesus in a way they understand.

Music Ministry

The Open Altar’s music ministry endeavors to proclaim the word of God and to lead others into the presence of God through anointed “music’ and “song.” The music ministry is an important part of The Open Altar’s worship experience where music and song is utilized to usher in the present of God and used to teach, comfort, inspire, persuade, convince and motivate others. We believe in “Speaking to ourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” according to Ephesians 5:19-20.

Guest Services

Our Guest Services team is here so that the Gospel at The Open Altar isn’t only heard, it’s experienced from the time you enter the parking lot. We believe through making connections and creating remarkable environments, we can demonstrate the same love God has for us according to Romans 5:8. Every Guest Services member has a unique vision and opportunity to help our guest get to know us.

Intercessory Prayer

The Open Altar’s Prayer Ministry exists to save, equip and send Prayer Warriors to present the praises and petitions of our church and community before the Lord. We invite you to pray with us and to receive prayer. Through our intercessory prayer ministry, we gather for prayer to intercede for individuals, families, and communities and believe that prayer will change us both individually and corporately as the Body of Christ; which will cause His presence to affect those around us. We provide prayer coverage for individuals, families, the local church, nation(s), and our world. The fervent prayers of the righteous avails much (James 5:16)

Outreach

An essential part of Open Altar Worship Center’s vision is to make a difference in the lives and hearts of people through His Word and His love. Through prayer, literature distribution, random acts of kindness, and various outreach events Open Altar Worship Center’s outreach ministry reaches our friends, neighbors, and surrounding communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
